Miss Kelsey will be at the Cultural Centre for the Red Level Workshop from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
All red group dancers please attend!
The Sopilka School of Ukrainian Dance is a group of children and young adults who have endeavoured to recreate some of the finest examples of Ukrainian Folklore not only in Vegreville and Alberta; but also throughout our beautiful country of Canada. They have captured in their dance, the true basic spirit of the land of their forefathers, Ukraine – a country known for its musical heritage.

PROMOTIONAL WEAR SALE
Cliff Moroziuk will be stopping at St. Martins and the Cultural Center to give copies of the Sopilka Promotional Wear Sale information for instructors to distribute to the dancers tomorrow, Monday, February 13, 2012.
Cliff will be at the Cultural Center from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on February 13th and February 27, 2012 with samples and sizes. Please stop by to look at the variety of items before placing your orders.
DEADLINE FOR ORDERS IS FEBRUARY 28, 2012.
All items will be ordered from Cole's Western Wear.

Miss Kelsey's Classes on Feb 13 & 27 Time Change
Miss Kelsey has a scheduling conflict on the Mondays of Feb 13th and 27th. Because she will not be able to make it to Vegreville till almost 6pm, we have changed the class times for those days as follows:
Yellow Group - 6:00 - 6:30pm
Green Group - 6:30 - 7:00pm
Red Group - 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Green Group - 6:30 - 7:00pm
Red Group - 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Please mark your calendars accordingly.

Here is the revised schedule for the workshop this Saturday at the Cultural Centre Studio:

Calling all area Ukrainian dance students between 8 and 14 years of age! Have what it takes to dance onstage with Shumka? You could win the chance of a life time to strut your stuff along side the Shumka dance company at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.
Here's how to enter:
1. Go to www.shumka.com/shumka-at-50/show-us-how-you-shumka and follow the instructions for uploading a video of your best Ukrainian dance moves by FEBRUARY 17, 2012. You can be featured alone, or in a group with up to 8 people total.
2. Tell your friends and family to vote. Send your video link to everyone you know so that they can vote for you.
3. Two winners will be determined on February 22, 2012. The videos with the most votes are the winners!
4. The winning contestants get to perform LIVE onstage with Shumka in the March 3rd or 4th performances of Shumka at 50 - The Touring Production. (Highest vote winner on March 3rd; second highest vote winner on March 4th).
