The Sopilka School of Ukrainian Dance is a group of children and young adults who have endeavoured to recreate some of the finest examples of Ukrainian Folklore not only in Vegreville and Alberta; but also throughout our beautiful country of Canada. They have captured in their dance, the true basic spirit of the land of their forefathers, Ukraine – a country known for its musical heritage.

Dance Wear Sale at the Cultural Association
On Wednesday, September 28th from 4:30pm till 9:00pm there will be a dance wear sale in the Cultural Association lobby. This is all NEW dance wear, including all the footwear that our club requires.
We are doing this in conjucntion with VSB to make getting your dance gear just a little bit easier.

Group Venues and Times
Here is the breakdown for venues and times:
St. Martin's Gymnasium - Miss Kelsey's classes
4:30pm - 5:15pm Yellow group
5:15pm - 6:00pm Green group
6:00pm - 7:30pm Red group
Cultural Studio - Mr. Murray's classes
4:30pm - 5:30pm Blue group
5:30pm - 7:15pm Black group
7:15pm - 9:30pm Ensemble
Regular classes begin on September 26th.

Sopilka Annual General Meeting
Just a reminder that our AGM is being held on Monday, September 26th at 7:00pm. The meeting is being held in the office portion of the Cultural Association.
We ask that all parents attend as this is the best way to get information as to what the plans are for the upcoming dance season.
We will also be looking for volunteers to fill positions on the executive, director and volunteer list.
