Just a reminder that our AGM is being held on Monday, September 26th at 7:00pm. The meeting is being held in the office portion of the Cultural Association.
We ask that all parents attend as this is the best way to get information as to what the plans are for the upcoming dance season.
We will also be looking for volunteers to fill positions on the executive, director and volunteer list.

The Sopilka School of Ukrainian Dance is a group of children and young adults who have endeavoured to recreate some of the finest examples of Ukrainian Folklore not only in Vegreville and Alberta; but also throughout our beautiful country of Canada. They have captured in their dance, the true basic spirit of the land of their forefathers, Ukraine – a country known for its musical heritage.

WELCOME TO SOPILKA'S 2011/2012 SEASON!
Welcome to all new dancers, and welcome back to all returning dancers!
Placements will be held on Monday, September 12th and Monday, September 19th.
All placements will be held at the CULTURAL CENTRE STUDIO, and please bring your child according to age at the following times:
Registration will be taken on September 7th at the Annual Fall Registration Night held at the Social Centre between 5:00pm and 8:00pm, or contact Sandra Ling at 780-632-7558.

Pysanka Festival Rehearsals
Sopilka will be having an extra practice on MONDAY, JUNE 20th for Pysanka rehearsal. Please pay attention to the following times and venues, as there has been some changes.
Cultural Center - Bryan instructing.
Green Group - 4:00pm till 5:00pm
Blue Group - 5:00pm till 6:15pm
Ensemble - 6:15pm till 9:15pm
Library Gymnasium - Kathy instructing
Red Group - 5:30pm till 7:00pm
Black Group - 7:00pm till 8:45pm
This will be the ONLY rehearsal for the Festival, so please make sure that all dancers are in attendance.

Friday, May 27th - Bryan's Make-up Class
There will be practice on Friday, May 27 at the CULTURAL ASSOCIATION for Bryan's groups. The times are as follows:

Ensemble - 8:00pm - 10:00pm - please note that is a shortened practice, only 2 hours in length.
